Chu Man-kai won a gold medal in the Badminton Men's Singles SH6 event for the delegation. Chu and Wong Chun-yim also won a silver medal in the Badminton Men's Doubles SH6 event.
Mr Yeung said the delegation kept up their momentum and claimed another gold medal.
“With their all-out effort, Chu and Wong displayed their strength and passion for the sport on the court, demonstrating the demeanour of great athletes. We are so proud of them.”
Additionally, Rockey Li and Tang Shun-yee scored gold in Lawn Bowls Mixed Doubles - B2 for the delegation.
“Li and Tang showed team spirit when winning a gold medal. The accomplishment made by their mutual support means so much more than a single person's victory. We are so proud of them,” Mr Yeung added.
The delegation also won five silvers in Lawn Bowls, Boccia and Swimming as well as seven bronzes in Table Tennis and Swimming.
The sports chief noted that both young and veteran Hong Kong athletes gave their all in every game and stay committed to their goals.
“We are thrilled to see that their efforts have paid off.”
The Hong Kong, China delegation has so far won 45 medals, including seven golds, 15 silvers and 23 bronzes at this Asian Para Games.
