Beijing testing rules updated

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government today urged members of the public to ensure they comply with Beijing's updated COVID-19 nucleic acid test requirement when travelling there.   Starting from midnight on January 27, all people travelling from Hong Kong to Beijing by direct flights have to present valid proof of a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test result issued within seven days by one of the local COVID-19 nucleic acid testing institutions recognised by the Hong Kong SAR Government.   The test report should include, in Chinese and English, the traveller's name and identification number, method and time of the test specimen collection, the test result, time of the report’s issuance and the reporting officer’s signature, collectively called the "standardised cover information".   Airlines will check travellers' relevant documents. Those who fail to comply with the requirements will not be allowed to board the plane.   After entering Beijing, travellers must also strictly follow the prevention and control measures there.
